Development and Testing of Compressive Running Leggings for Improved Muscle Performance
In this project, thermoplastic polyurethane films with compression properties are laminated on leggings in unique patterns that correspond to the locations of muscles activated during a running cycle. Muscle performance are evaluated in different conditions using wireless electromyography. This research is funded by Istanbul Technical University Scientific Research Unit grant.
