Development of a Therapeutic Smart Glove to Alleviate Rheumatoid Arthritis Symptoms

This project focuses on design and development of a glove that provides transcutaneous nerve stimulation, low voltage electricity at adjustable frequency, through embroidered e-textile based electrodes to help with pain management. TPU films are used to provide compression around the finger and wrist joints to aid inflammation. This research is funded by TUBITAK 1005 grant (National New Ideas and Products R&D Funding Program) of The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey.
