Signature Collection is an advanced fashion design studio where students develop a full four-piece collection entirely from scratch, from initial concept and research through sketches, pattern drafting, fittings, and every final look tailored to their model. The course mirrors the rhythm of a professional design studio through individual consultations, peer work groups, and critique sessions. The quarter culminates in a public runway show at UC Davis Picnic Day, where students take ownership of every production detail,  model casting, show identity, ticketing, seating, and backstage logistics, for an event that draws hundreds of guests each year.
